What is the IUCN Red List and what does each category mean? How do reptiles become endangered? Is there anything we can do to help? Learn how and why reptiles can go from a healthy population size to being scarce in the wild and what we can do to help protect them.
Ages: ALL - Our staff will adjust the content and curriculum to meet the students' needs, no matter the age!
Pricing: All Offsite Demonstrations start at $250 for one hour, additional hours and fees are listed below
- $100 for each additional hour (we do not have pricing for half hour intervals)
- $75 after hours fee added on per hour after 5pm
- $75 Assembly fee for groups larger than 35 participants
- $50 travel fee for booths more than 35 miles away from PHS (North Scottsdale).
- OR $1 per mile roundtrip for locations more than 50 miles away.
Animals: A total of 5 reptiles representing each category of the IUCN Red List (Least Concern, Near Threatened, Vulnerable, Endangered, and Critically Endangered)
Interactions are an essential part of our presentations and will be a part of each one.
