Calling all experienced PHS campers, we need your help! We rely on our Counselor in Training (CIT's) to prepare for activities, clean, assist with animal interactions, be good role models for the younger campers, and more!
Ages: Advanced ONLY
Price: $150 for the week
Dissections: MAYBE, depends on which camp they are helping
Interactions: YES with nonvenomous animals only
**This is for EXPERIENCED Campers only. Campers must have attended other various camps at PHS in the past.
You becoming a CIT benefits PHS!
- We need help with interactions, helping the younger campers with crafts, help setting up activities and more!
- Kids in camp look up to CITs because they want to be just like you!
PHS can benefit you as well!
- You will learn all about the different reptiles and how to interact with them!
- Wonderful to put on your first resume when you are old enough!
- Learn valuable skills of how to teach others, interact with new people and create a health learning environment for everyone!
Expectations:
- Arrive at or before the time of camp starting and stay throughout the day
- Assist the Counselor (making copies, grabbing supplies, helping with activities, holding animals etc)
- You will not be disciplining anyone, that will be left to the counselor or director.
- Playing/browsing on a cell phone/other device will not be allowed when camp is in session.
