All animals available for adoption have either been rescued or surrendered. The majority of the time the background information is not available. When this information is available it will be listed under the comments section. All animals are quarantined for 14 – 30 days depending on the species. Although these animals are precious in every way, sometimes they come to us in poor and grave condition. They may have toes and tails missing, scars, metabolic issues or some other deformity. Therefore to ensure that they are place in a loving and caring environment the adoption process will require the completion of an adoption form, pictures of the enclosure and, if necessary, an onsite inspection. Please note that all adoption fees are put back into PHS to care for the animals in the facility as well as the education programs. We appreciate you interest in adopting one of our friends.
