To Everyone Attended our annual Fundraiser –  Thank You for Your Support

The weather is starting to warm up with the exception of a few rainy days. We have already had a couple of Rattlesnake sightings.  It is that time of year when we need to start thinking Desert Safety and be aware of what is around us. A few pointers to follow:

- Stay on marked and designated trails

- Watch where you are putting your hands and feet

- Don’t start trimming bushes and plants without checking first

- Keep a close eye on pets

- Don’t leave doors open

- Don’t leave garage doors open

- Snakes like to hide in garden hoses. Check before picking up the hose

- Snakes like to lay on the black asphalt at night, be sure to walk with flashlights

- Snakes don’t have ears so that can’t hear you singing or hear your music

- You can't hear them warn you if there is a lot noise around

- They like to hide in corners by front doors, by pool filters, potted plants close to house, under garbage cans

- Don’t go out at night without a flashlight

- Don’t keep garage doors open or cracked. They will go in!

Homeless Tortoises Need Forever Homes. Watch the calendar for adoption days.
